"This is plug n' play at it's best... highly recommended" - Residential Systems on the Paradigm Millenia CT

"Everything you need comes in the box"
Todd Anthony Puma, owner of The Source Home Theater Installation & Design in NYC and contributing writer for Residential Systems reviewed the Millenia CT and was very pleased not only with the Paradigm-level sound quality but also the ease-of-use and convenience, perfect for his NYC market.

"What makes Paradigm’s Millenia CT system so unique is that it offers Paradigm’s award winning design and sound quality at a very reasonable price."

"It’s perfect for the couple that doesn’t want a sophisticated home theater in their living room but wants something well above average that will sound equally as good with music as it does with movies."

"The CT is also for someone who doesn’t want to invest in cables or obtrusive stands. This is plug ‘n’ play at its best. Everything you need comes in the box..."

"Superlative sound quality, reference-level build quality"

"The tabletop stands are the best I have ever seen offered with any product; and that includes loudspeakers in the $5,000- to $10,000-range."

"It can recreate a deep and expansive soundstage that many loudspeakers two to three times its price can only hint at."

"For $699.99, this package comes highly recommended... Superlative sound quality, reference-level build quality, and inexpensive for what it delivers."

"Today's Inspiration, Courtesy of Paradigm" - A teaser from SoundStage! on Paradigm's Inspiration

In a recent blog post published on SoundStage Global, Doug Schneider wrote a teaser about the out-of-box experience with his review set of 30th Anniversary Inspiration speakers called Today's Inspiration, Courtesy of Paradigm. Below we have shared some of Doug's comments and fun photos - enjoy and stay tuned for the full review!

"This morning my doorbell rang at 10:30 a.m. -- it was FedEx dropping off a pair of Paradigm Reference Inspiration stand-mounted loudspeakers. These aren't ordinary Paradigms, but a special anniversary model created to celebrate the company's 30 years of being in business. This and the floorstanding Tribute are the only two models in this line, and they're both being made in limited-edition runs..."

"You'd think that the first thing I would do is unpack the Inspirations and set them up in my listening room. You'd think. But what I did was immediately haul both boxes into the back of my Honda CR-V and drive to Canada's National Research Council (NRC) so that they could be measured in the chamber right away.

"After they were measured, I brought them home, but I still didn't listen to them right away. Instead, I set the pair up on the floor of my unfurnished living room (aka my kids' playroom) and shot pictures of them to show some of the features here."

Included 'Thank You' letter reading "Here's to another 30 wonderful years"

"The Inspiration is a really nifty speaker that certainly shares a family resemblance with Paradigm's other models, but it also has some features that no other Paradigm model has, including a special finish that the company calls Dark Garnet Gloss. Look for a full review of this speaker to show up in SoundStage! Hi-Fi in June."

We cannot wait to hear what Doug thinks of the Inspiration.

"A Compact Canadian Masterpiece" - TONE Audio on the Paradigm Reference Signature S8 speakers

It's safe to say when a review starts off with...
"Spoiler Alert: The Paradigm Reference Signature S8s are amazing speakers that don't cost a small fortune. They offer performance way beyond what you'd expect for $8,998 a pair. Many of us know the Canadian company for its smaller speakers and great home-theater systems, but the Signature S8s have major audiophile cred."
... that it's going to be a good one!

And Jeff Dorgay's review of the Paradigm Reference Signature S8 speakers, was no exception. You can read the full review in TONE Audio Issue #54, but we can't help but share a few more quotes for you here.

"Serious five-figure performance without a five-figure pricetag"

Lifelike Vocals
"The beryllium tweeter and line-array-type configuration give the speakers a high degree of coherence, which is a major contributor to their ability to reproduce vocals—male or female—with such lifelike ease."

"The Ref Sig.S8s keep the driving disco beat firmly anchored without losing track of the seductive lead vocals, while also keeping all of the backup vocals sorted, as they pop in from all over the soundscape."

"...a great mix of vocal layers and spacey electronic effects zooming all over the listening room—further showcasing the fact that these speakers possess extraordinary imaging abilities."

"The S8 may have a relatively small footprint, but they are massive on quality."

Smooth Sailing
"...there’s loads of low-end rumble, but everything else is smooth sailing. If you really need to rattle the foundation of your house, or love your movies loud, by all means peruse the Paradigm catalog. However, most of us will be thrilled with the bass response that these speakers deliver."

"Major audiophile cred"
System Anchor
"Best of all, the high sensitivity of these speakers allows a wide range of compatible amplification, making them a fantastic anchor for your system."

Musical Finesse
"The amount of clean, undistorted sound these speakers produce is as impressive as the finesse with which they deliver it. These are far from just being rock-and-roll, brain-damage speakers. They do finesse as well as they do loud, making them a fit for whatever music you enjoy."

Small but Big
"The Ref Sig. S8s may have a relatively small footprint, but they are massive on quality... Don't let the compact footprint fool you: These slim speakers weigh 100 pounds each, so unless you turn green when someone makes you mad, get some help to unpack and move them into place."

Exceptional Value
"If you're looking for a pair of speakers that offer serious five-figure performance without a five-figure pricetag, consider the Paradigm Reference Signature S8s. In the scheme of today's wacky audio world, where $100k speakers are no longer rare, these are refreshingly great - and we are happy to give them one of our Exceptional Value Awards for 2013."

5 Stars for the Millenia CT from Witch Doctor, NZ!

"... this system is very much in the small hi-fi category"
Ashley Kramer of Witch Doctor, New Zealand's online technology review magazine, recently reviewed the Millenia CT system and gave it a whopping  5 stars and even referred to the audio as one with "hi-fi level dynamics and clarity". Here are some of the clippings...

Quick Setup
"It took only a few minutes to set the Millenia CT up and then only a few more to get the subwoofer properly integrated with the speakers."

Heavy Bottom, Little Space
"...the sub has no trouble adding a lot of weight to the bottom end and is entirely happy to reach up and meet the roll-off of the speakers to provide a seamless integration.

"The narrow profile of the sub means that it’s easy enough to place and if it needs to sit near the TV or entertainment unit, it doesn’t look too obtrusive. It can also be laid flat if desired."

"...they sound far bigger than they look"

Hi-Fi Level Audio
"The metal drivers in the speakers give a sound much like the Paradigm Studio Series 7 Mini Monitor loudspeakers that I reviewed, only deeper in the bottom end thanks to the sub. Which means that they sound far bigger than they look, with hi-fi level dynamics and clarity."

"In short, the Millenia CT puts on a really good show with music. It really is like listening to a small hi-fi system, and that’s just with a 3.5mm input from an iPod stocked with 320kbps files."

"Hooked up to my Marantz SA8260 SACD player from the optical output, the Millenia CT revealed even more detail and macro dynamic energy; much more than I’d expected. The top end is marvellously extended and the bass is lucid and refreshingly taut."

Home Theatre Territory
"In fact, with movie soundtracks, I found the well-lit top end to actually enhance the experience, showing off the tiny nuances that make a good movie even better. There’s more than enough weight and power at the bottom end to lift action movies right into home theatre territory, albeit without any surround effects. As anyone who’s tried a good 2.1 home theatre system, you tend not to miss the effects as long as the overall sound quality is good enough, and here, it definitely is."

"...way ahead of any chain store home theatre in a box that I've ever heard"
A Real Star
"As a compact dedicated home theatre system, the Millenia CT is up with the best of them at the price. It’s a real star with music playback too, which is a cherry on top. From a sound quality perspective, it’s way ahead of any chain store home theatre in a box that I’ve ever heard; even the better ones at a similar price point. And so it should be, given the limited speaker set on offer, but quality kills quantity every time when it comes to audio."

"...I’d have no hesitation in stating that this system is very much in the small hi-fi category, which would make it a very good small theatre choice..."
