Paradigm's CES 2010 Party was a Hit!

Paradigm hosted it's first ever Dealer & Press Event at CES 2010 and it was a tremendous success! The event attracted close to 200 CES attendees and garnered praise from both press and Paradigm dealers who received the exclusive invite.

Performing at the event was recording artist Camaron Ochs who played an hour long set off her debut album Heartforward released on January 23rd. Camaron charmed the audience with a refreshing blend of dramatic vocals and vibrant acoustic guitar. Stay tuned for video clips from the event!

First Listen: Paradigm Special Edition 5.1-Channel Speaker System | AVguide

Chris Martens of AVguide.com opened the boxes of his SE System and listened to them for the first time. Here's what he had to say...

"Personally I've tried to address the what-you-want vs. what-you-can-afford gulf by becoming a specialist, of sorts, in overachieving, high-value, high performance components and in that vein one of my favorite go-to resources is the Canadian speaker manufacturer Paradigm. Those guys are, in my view, experts at speaking the language of A/V value. A perfect case in point would be the Paradigm Special Edition series speakers that The Perfect Vision recently received for review."

He then went as far as to say "I was wowed to hear (even on limited surround channel information) how full and rich the SE 1s seemed to be. It's purely an intuition or instinct on my part, but I can't help but feel that when surround speakers sound impressive right out of the box, the rest of the system may be likely to follow in the same path. Paradigm's Mini Monitor gets its Ego Stroked through Praise & an Award by The Absolute Sound

A LOT for a little...

Paradigm's Mini Monitor wins "Entry-Level Loudspeaker of the Year" for 2009 from The Absolute Sound while also receiving a rave review from Steven Stone!

A great review, Steven starts off by saying... "If I had a dollar for every time a young person said to me, "I need an inexpensive speaker that doesn't suck," I'd have enough money to buy all my under-20-year-old nieces and nephews Paradigm Mini Monitors. For $239 each, the newest iteration of Paradigm's second-lease-expensive speaker provides more than a taste of what music is like when played through speakers made by people who care about the sound of live music."

Later Steven sums up the Mini Monitors by saying..."I don't expect everyone who is looking for small monitor speakers to buy a pair of Mini Monitors regardless of how bad the economy gets. CES 2010 was a great show for Paradigm... But even more so when SoundStage! announced the results of their annual awards. The Paradigm Reference Signature SUB 2 stole the show by earning the Pioneering Design Achievement award!
